Sam Miller Knows His Stuff

I recently had a lesson with Sam Miller at a Scottsdale, AZ public golf course. I have never played golf before, so I was pretty nervous about my first lesson. Sam quickly made me feel at ease, and I learned a lot! He is very good with new players, very personable, and patient. I would highly recommend Sam to anyone new at the game of golf. I have already scheduled a follow up lesson, and I can't wait!

I've been using the G10's the last couple months. I think that they are great clubs. I am a beginner and they have really given me some relief. I don't know how I like the driver though. I've been told the GOYB has some great custom drivers that can be fitted specific to my swing. Any thoughts?

GOYB's velvetRX shaft

Hello fellow golfers,

I just debuted the new velvetRX shaft provided by GOYB. It is one of their custom shafts that they offer through their online portal. I've never felt anything so wonderful in my life. I couldn't even feel the sting of the ball after I swung. The shaft dampened any adverse effect of a mishit.

I don't even think I need to worry about golf injuries. There is seriously no vibration in this wonderful shaft.

If you don't have one, GET IT NOW. Please don't wait, ...

Superstition Mountain: Play this great course!

Cheers Mates,

It's Bono again! I just played the great Superstion Mountain course in Arizona. It takes a bit out of the wallet or purse, but its definitely worth it. Never have I seen such beautiful views of the great desert sky, which overhangs a lovely mountain tapestry. As I attempted to hit a tee shot, I got mesmerized by the scenery, and lost track of the flight of my ball. Ah... it really didn't matter though. Whether you shot a 90 or 65, nothing compares to this great place.

Lesson from B. Springsteen

Hello Mates,

I just had a lesson from B. Springsteen. I always promised me fans that "I'd never play golf." I'm not from the land of Connory, or McTavish, so please excuse my... ahem... ignorance.

All I can say is I had a great lesson from this brash, bold, wonderful teacher. I struck the ball like never before and it soared "Magnificent"... yes magnificently.

So Get on Your Boots, and play golf with this lad. I did, and I don't regret it.

San Diego has some great courses. Specifically, if you have a chance to golf at the Coronado Private club, do it. They've got lots of par 5's, great views, and the weather is amazing. Also, if you can, stop in an get some food. The chef at the clubhouse makes one of the best club sandwiches that I've ever had.

Santa Cruz - Pasatiempo

Those taking a tour down 17 mile drive to Pebble Beach may want to indulge themselves to drive a little north to Santa Cruz. If you love the Masters, then take the time to appreciate this Alyster MacKenzie design (also designed Augusta National). Personally his favorite design, Pasatiempo offers a challenge to golfers of all levels and can lend some appreciation to the course details at Augusta National. Rates are $$$. However, the course is worth the experience, 5-Star!
